Day 7:
Me-made ruffle front T-shirt, skirtain, vest and pants. I've found that knowing my day's outfit is going to appear as part of the cumulatively awesome Flickr group definately makes me feel like raising my game in terms of general appearance. Yeah, I check my hair before I get my documentation pap taken, don't tell me you don't!:
I have to say that I am MASSIVELY enjoying checking up on the Me-Made-May Flickr group. It's so cool to find a heap more fantastic photos each time I virtually swing by. It's fascinating to see how real life women are incorporating their handmade garments into their daily outfits to go about their real lives. It's not like flicking through some beautiful, but ultimately artificial, super-styled magazine spread or Anthropologie catalogue. I love what each individual is bringing to the party with their own style and philosophy. Plus the discussion threads have been fascinating, insightful, relevant and inspirational. I feel like we are really getting to the core of the hows and whys of incorporating some handmade goodness into the rest of our lives. Umm, basically I love this group.

Oh wow, that Flickr pool has just given me a whole new list of things to make! Love your ruffled tee too, it's gorgeous :D
wow, I love that skirt and top combo with the yellow belt. Gorgeous.
You are adorable!!
I'm mad about the Flickr group, too. I pop in several times a day to see what's new, and there is always something fun!
I love the Flickr pool too. It's so fun to see what me made things everyone else is wearing.
I really like your jumper dress and it in no way makes you look like mutton-dressed-as-lamb.
The flickr pool is one of my new favourite things. It's inspiring me not just to wear me-made tops with my jeans day-in, day-out. The jumper dress looks lovely, not mutton at all.
Love that jumper dress! I really need to get on it. I brought my sewing machine to my new temporary home this weekend. I have a few things that I've made but rarely enough time to breath let alone take pictures. <3
The ruffle top and skirt outfit is pretty awesome... :)
I need to get on sewing some more, so I can join one of the future me-made events!
Oh my gosh. I love everything about your personal style. It's really motivated me to dust off the trust ole' sewing machine :)
