But as I got some pictures I've written a post. I totally understand that you would be reaching for your jeans outfit and I am glad that you, too, have had a profit out of Me-Mad-May in dressing more YOU outfits.
This was my second participation. Last year, I was surprised that I had enough garments to wear. I grabbed out of my dresser what came to my mind without a problem. The photos are a lot more truthful than the mirror. So I realized, that a lot of my memade garments are really ME and some others just are not right. Afterwards, I could give them to somebody without regret.
This year, I enjoyed the communication at flickr very much. It is such a kind community.
Thank you, Zoe, for making all this possible! It's fascinating to see what you naturally reach for in your closet though, and what you might make next that will also be worn frequently. Most of my daily wear seems to be dresses! Because of this, I made a few spontaneous garments this month that have been really great additions to my wardrobe :) Thanks for hosting once again this year, and I look forward to participating next year! :)Symonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17965640501644567685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464662522153586853.post-69866839356092581402015-06-02T20:21:33.091+01:002015-06-02T20:21:33.091+01:00I was glad I had enough to participate this year, ...I was glad I had enough to participate this year, having to finish up the pattern Review contest & lots of birthdays & graduations helped a lot lol!maybe next year I'll have sewn enough to wear somnething me made everyday, thank you for hosting this I truely enjoyed it!

HelenNannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02491593460770080211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464662522153586853.post-9017466824484898582015-06-02T17:57:53.307+01:002015-06-02T17:57:53.307+01:00I really like those parting thoughts 1), because I...I really like those parting thoughts 1), because I identify with what you've said and where you are, and 2) because I found that MMM was as much about thinking through my real life wardrobe/fashion sense as it was about sewing. It gives my sewing a direction and a purpose and allows me to create the fashion I want with knowledge of what I will actually wear. I think it's the most practical "think through your style and wardrobe" exercise I've ever done.lphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07568300401513370065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464662522153586853.post-31397442647952344622015-06-02T16:17:07.874+01:002015-06-02T16:17:07.874+01:00I participated for the first half of the month on ...I participated for the first half of the month on Instagram and loved deciding which me made item to wear and how to style it. I came to the conclusions that 1) I have a lot more clothes than I thought I did (because, like you, I tend to just keep wearing the same things), 2) I need to dedicate one morning a week to just plain "selfish" sewing because it keeps me sane, and 3) getting sewing WIPS done feels really good! (Part of my challenge was to finish all seasonal-appropriate WIPS). I wrote more about it here: http://www.cucicucicoo.com/2015/06/me-made-may-2015-may-17-31/

By the way, I really love the MMM community on the various social media. Having the hashtag is so great to just check in on what other people are wearing, and see how many talented people participated and get a lot of great new ideas! :) LisaCucicucicoo: Eco Crafting & Sewinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01747020600308321919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464662522153586853.post-47383101664584824622015-06-02T10:55:29.258+01:002015-06-02T10:55:29.258+01:00Thanks for hosting. I only did Instagram photos because I can rarely get my shit together for proper photos. This worked perfectly for me and I did enjoy it. I wondered what I'd get out of it as I have a lot of handmades worn daily, but the best thing I did was set the challenge of clearing my UFO/mending/upcycling pile and I got on really well with this. Perhaps my biggest revelation was to finally do a proper high bust measurement and get serious about doing an FBA at last!
